The Life Aquatic of Steve Zissou

What an amazing film to close off the film festival. This time it was more like it: reception at the Savoy cinema, guests and representatives, even a long speech. No free wine though :(
Anyway, the film is about a Jacques Costeau like character called Steve Zissou played by the venerable Bill Murray. Flanked by other actors such as Angelica Heuston, Owen Wilson, William Dafoe and Cate Blanchett (looks great with a tan!), as well as other members of Team Zissou, they venture across the ocean to rescue their 'bond stooge' from pirates and go searching for a mysterious jaguar shark.
To just call this a comedy dosen't do it justice: it's a real intelligent, mellow and colorful film. If you liked The Royal Tenenbaums and Rushmore (from the same director Wes Anderson) then you can argue that this is Anderson's best work to date.
Life Aquatic should be released next week.
