Kickin' it in Macau... or Macao?
Should be MACAO though... i don't like using the anglicised term for anything.
What a real tiring trip though, humidity was terrible. It was probably my last assignment with Asia City so luckily Billy was able to get this organised for us. The next issue of Where is about spas and what not. So I even got a free Thai massage at M Spa in the lucious Westin hotel. I tell ya, whew, I really need that. I could feel all my joints loosening up after some serious stress over the past few weeks. The Hyatt looked like a sleazy motel compared to it. The Mandarin Oriental was a real looker too; had all the famous retailers in its lobby.
Casinos were crazy... they're busy 24/7. I can see how people become addicted to this stuff. It's such a communal culture, that and the Chinese just love to gamble. We visited the mighty Sands casino and the Greek Mythology. The Greek place was well cheesy... they even had Russians as their star attraction. I even practiced a little Russian on the waitresses... they were either amusely surprised or just plain offended.
So back in our 'ol SAR without a paddle, I'm gonna fuck around for a week or so finishing up on my final project for Unisoft and maybe visit the outlying islands... don't wanna go too far in case I miss some call backs!
Peace
